The talk storyline was solid and well-constructed. The slides were beautiful. Jeremy is a great speaker, full of energy and enthusiasm which is quite communicative. I liked that the talk was focused on a small number of points and made them very clearly. The quality of this talk, in itself, is an indication of Jeremy's skill as a designer, I'd say.

I went in thinking I wouldn't learn much (I've been sold on the standards and beauty of code issue for years) but actually, I understood something very basic and important about Javascript and Ajax, two technologies I've never really used because I don't really "get" them.

So, thanks, Jeremy. I had a nice time and actually learnt something.
