good speach, but nothing really new in it. I have heard this content a few times from Tim.
It was my first time hearing Tim and I liked it. Nothing really new I agree, but it's good assist to such passional conference!
Yes, it isn't new to some of you, but I keep giving variations of the same talk because there are many people who haven't heard it, and who don't understand. I just recently had the head of a major corporation tell me that he finally understood what web 2.0 was all about, and that understanding was completely different than what he'd thought before.
Meanwhile, not sure why the "I've heard it all before" comments are here, and the enthusiastic ones are over on crowdvine. There are people over there who fall into the group to whom this was new and thought provoking.
And you certainly couldn't have heard it ALL before, because some of the content was specific to recent announcements like the Facebook API and OpenSocial, and trying to apply the ideas to current news.
But I hear the feedback. It may be getting time to retire this particular speech.

Heard it the first time directly and it was a great keynote although not that much was new of course. But still good to stress the point about open data and opening the social graph. This is really an important topic and needs quite some work in the near future.
To me it definitely was inspiring. Sometimes it's not about new but simply about getting reminded of things to do again :)
My first time at a Tim's speech, and I found it very, very good. Mixing some background and actual issues, I've also found some good ideas of directions towards the Web 2.0 is headed
But I also agree that it seems time to drop the "2.0" and probably call it "The better Web" :)))
