I agree with you and I also think that the place is huge and fragmented: many areas are involved and the social networking is very difficult (odd 'cause the whole thing is about networking :) )
Although the speakers workshops made up for it, the venue facilities didn't. I got the feeling I ended up in a place that didn't expect this event to take place. A very long line at the registration, asking the same information that I already submitted. The waiting contiuned at the one place to get a cup of coffee. Again, I enjoyed the speakers, but got an negative feeling from the place were it took place.
I agree - good speakers so far and interesting people but the Berlin Messe is most likely the most unpleasant in Germany. Look at places like Nurnberg, Munich and others. These are places people like to be in.
As well the catering really is a diet - don't know why we should not at least have enough water during Tim's diet plans for us.
