I absolutely agree. knowing that I will spend another day tomorrow at this site with NO spirit, especially no "social" spirit, doesn't make me happy at all. in addition to the atmosphere (and the incredibly bad catering) there is an expo - for those who did not realise - about a 5 minute ziczac walk away, where companys paid a lot of money to be present - and not be found! as a berliner I finally have to add that I hope (!) that all visitors have taken the chance to see a little bit of the real berlin as well. it is one of the fanciest cities in europe and the venue of the expo is definitively the unfanciest place in berlin at all.

These buildings are killing creativity.
It's dark, cold, and it lacks kind of real lounges (not this strange hall called lounge ;-) to come together.
You won't even get a decent coffee...
I would like to see this taking place at an other intersting place. maybe at the university or such.
It's kind of expensive for this venue quality.
At least one good point: Public transportation is excellent.

Totally agree. Also the area is much to fragmented, there's really no connection between the lounge/lecture areas and the expo.
