i am a little bit disappointed.
Sure, it was interesting to hear how Soren increased the output in his company, and i heard a couple of good ideas, but at least i expected more (and different) detailled single advices and methods. Instead it was more like a presentation about his organization and it works in his company.
In combination with nicoles statistics it was a nice overall picture anyway

I liked this session. Soren made good points and never said large production oriented organization should have no hierarchy, but there is a lot to learn for Enterprises - how to make information and data available (non-hierarchical), which areas are the ones where you want to foster innovation and agility, how to leverage the full potential of employees and their creativity? The answer to this lies in Enterprise2.0.
And on Nicole, I made the same experience in Germany.
It will be a long way, but the corporates will adopt Enterprise2.0 ideas and working environments.

Good session. No doubt that organizations must change fast because world is changing fast, but is there should be a good balance between old hierarchy based orgs and new flat and partecipating companies. We must work on the right individual behaviours and then we can do everything.

I think Soren and Nicole just scratching the surface. Soren make it sounds like that CoreMedia have been killing there org.chart, there methods and that they now is wholly self-organized and that is a kind of non-management. I think that that in itself is a new kind of central idé, a new kind of management. A new kind of central method. Central idées and central methods for letting go and building collective intelligence and awearness.
